WHY we do what we do

We believe that people, teams, and organisations create better outcomes when they approach others with curiosity, awareness, and a willingness to learn.

Human beings are born deeply curious, seeking connection. As we move through life, we can lose that curiosity and adopt a communication style focused on influencing others, often at the expense of learning from them.

LEARN Coaching was founded to help address these challenges.

The Internal Compass emerged from our work as a way of helping people become more aware of what guides them, reconnect with their curiosity, and engage more openly and effectively with others.

We meet leaders who are passionate about developing their people, yet who struggle to coach and communicate effectively.

Your intentions don’t make you a good coach. Practice does.

Coach training develops curiosity, fosters innovation, and sharpens communication skills.

To coach others well, we must first understand ourselves.

We each experience and make sense of life in our own way. In interactions with others, we are offered a chance to broaden our understanding, see alternative perspectives, and learn. This requires an open mindset and the ability to communicate. Coaching skills help build that ability.

Life invites us to be true to our own experience, to be aware of our emotions, and to acknowledge what really matters to us. How we respond to that invitation depends on how consciously we are living our lives.

Discovering and strengthening our internal compass increases self-awareness, builds resilience, and enables us to collaborate with others.

Our emotions are real. The hypotheses we form by analyzing them are personal interpretations. The stories we tell ourselves about what others are like, why they act the way they do, or what values they hold are merely assumptions.

We believe leaders must acknowledge that their perceptions are subjective and can be informed by bias.

Developing inclusive leadership means enabling all team members to contribute.

A leader's range of communication is key, and curiosity is a powerful antidote to bias. Leaders with a coaching approach empower and develop their people while also fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

To support others effectively, leaders need to live in alignment with their values, practice self-leadership, and continually sharpen their skills through training.

LEARN Coaching's mission is to help make that possible.

LEARN Coaching offers a range of development programs for leaders, HR professionals, and anyone invested in improving their communication skills. If your goal is to become a professional coach, LEARN Coaching also provides a pathway into the profession.

Coaches on the path to mastery follow a development journey similar to that of leaders. LEARN Coaching creates learning environments where leaders who want to strengthen their coaching skills learn alongside professional coaches in training. We find that this mixed classroom enables deeper insight, richer learning, and stronger networks.

LEARN Coaching challenges you to deepen your coaching, discover your internal compass, and drive meaningful change, all in service of the people and organisations you lead or coach.
