Level 1:
Your pathway towards ACC
Our Level 1 pathway combines:
LEARN Self-Leadership & Coaching
LEARN Coach Training
The pathway is designed for aspiring professional coaches and for leaders, HR professionals, and consultants who want to develop a strong foundation in coaching.
Participants learn through coaching demonstrations, practical training, reflection, feedback, Mentor Coaching, and Performance evaluation. The emphasis is not simply on understanding coaching, but on practicing it and becoming increasingly aware of what happens in the coaching relationship.
You develop the ability to listen with greater depth, stay curious for longer, recognise your assumptions, and create space for another person’s learning.
Graduates who complete the entire Level 1 program can apply for the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through ICF’s accredited education application path.
Current ACC requirements include:
60 hours of coaching education
100 hours of coaching experience, including at least 75 paid hours
10 hours of Mentor Coaching completed over at least three months
Successful completion of a Performance evaluation
A passing score on the ICF ACC Exam
You do not need to have completed all 100 coaching hours before beginning your education with LEARN.
After graduating, you can continue building your coaching experience and apply to ICF once all credential requirements have been met.
